When customers approach us requesting a full surveillance and communications system, we offer the EyeWitness C3, a dedicated, self-contained COMMAND, CONTROL and COMMUNICATIONS (C3) platform. The EyeWitness C3 delivers powerful sensor monitoring, remote device management and network connectivity in a system that is flexible and can be easily configured to individual clients’ specific requirements.

ENCLOSURE FEATURES - DETAILS
The EyeWitness C3 can be installed as a pole unit in minutes using a bracket and metal strap that are easily customized to the diameters of different poles. Initial Security is also able to offer custom mounting solutions for this weatherproof platform, which includes a modular I/O plate. The connector face is located at the base of the unit to facilitate ease of use, accessibility and protection from the elements.

Our Rail Device Shelving System consists of rack arms that support tool-less shelving units, delivering easy access, flexibility and a clean, open device bay. MODULAR I/O PLATE & EXTERNAL RF
The bottom-mounted single connector face includes a modular I/O plate that facilitates ease of use and delivers protection from the elements. This can be upgraded for future layouts and payloads, increasing flexibility and lowering overall TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

DEVICE POWER CONNECTIONS & HANDLING ENHANCEMENTS
Connection points are located close to the rack mountings. Device power connections are standard terminal strips and are adjustable. External RF paths are short direct routes to the modular I/O panel. Ethernet connections are easily routed internally with zip tie points provided for cable runs between the PoE+ injector and other internal connections.

COMMUNICATION COMPATIBILITY + NVR SOLUTION
An NVR can easily be installed and configured, providing an easy VMS solution. OS such as Windows 10 Pro can be loaded for extensive usability, while RAM and HDD can be configured as required. A UPS device is included and ensures that file systems are protected and that safe shutdowns occur in the event of a power outage. In addition to VMS functions, an NVR can provide a gateway to remote systems or act as a platform for additional monitoring, analysis, AI, control and data gateway based cases.

EyeWitness C3 is compatible with a wide range of cellular modem manufacturers including Sierra Wireless, Peplink, Multi-Tech Systems and Cradlepoint. Many of these devices can be easily installed within the enclosure rack shelves. Advanced configurations such as load balancing, secure tunneling and video compression are also available.

The unit is equipped with an automated fan and heater, and its wind tunnel design functions to cool hot transmitters and modems. Advanced HVAC functions are possible via web or mobile connection, allowing users to easily log, monitor and schedule power and temperature conditions.

CAMERA MOUNTING & INTEGRATION OPTIONS
Initial Security recommends customers separate the camera from the control housing to maximize flexibility, and refer to mounting solutions provided by original manufacturers to protect equipment & warranties. An independent mounting approach also permits future upgrades.
